Terms of service

Terms, in plain English.

What we provide, what we need from you, and where the lines are. Last updated 27 October 2026.

1. What we provide

SITEPAPERS prepares health and safety and tender documentation for UK trades and contractors: RAMS, construction phase plans, site packs, toolbox talks and tender responses. Every document is prepared from the information you supply through our intake and is reviewed by an SMSTS qualified professional before delivery. We are a documentation service: we write and review documents, and the prices and turnaround times published on this site apply to that service.

2. Your responsibilities

Our documents are only as accurate as the facts behind them, and those facts come from you.

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you supply at intake and in any revision requests.
  • Each document is prepared for the stated job and site only. Using it for a different task, site or client is outside what it was written for and is at your own risk.
  • You remain responsible for confirming site-specific facts, for briefing your operatives, and for complying with your legal duties on site. A document does not discharge those duties by itself.

3. Delivery and turnaround

Published turnaround clocks (for example 24 hours for a standard RAMS) start when you have completed the intake, not at the moment of payment. If we believe we cannot meet a published clock, we tell you before you pay.

4. Revisions

One revision round is included with every document. A revision round means one consolidated set of change requests, for example the comments a principal contractor returns. Further revision rounds, or new tasks, are chargeable at the rates published on this site.

5. Payment and refunds

Prices are fixed and shown before you pay. Payment is taken at order through our payment processor. Because every document is bespoke work produced for your specific job, bespoke documents are non-refundable once delivered. If something in a delivered document is wrong on our side, we will correct it, and we may offer goodwill corrections beyond the included revision round at our discretion. If we decline a job before starting work, the order is refunded in full.

6. What we do not do

  • We do not prepare documentation for licensed asbestos removal.
  • We do not prepare documentation for structural demolition.
  • We do not attend site.
  • We do not act as your health and safety advisor or competent person. Our review is a documentation quality check, not an ongoing advisory appointment.

7. Liability

Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied to us, or from use of a document outside the stated job and site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Tender writing

Tender and bid writing work is scoped and priced per tender before any payment is taken. Tender responses are drafted from the facts, projects and evidence you supply and sign off. We make no guarantee, express or implied, that any tender will be successful.

9. Who you are dealing with

SITEPAPERS is a trading name of a UK sole trader business. Full trader details, including our geographic address, are available on request via the contact page and are provided in order correspondence.

10. Law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
