Questions, answered

The architect has asked for our CPP before we start. Is that normal?

Yes, and increasingly standard. Designers, principal designers and building control expect to see the plan before the construction phase begins, because CDM 2015 requires it to be in place by then.

The client is living in the property during the work. Does the plan cover that?

It must. Occupied-property arrangements are one of the first things we write in: segregation from the works, dust and noise controls, deliveries, working hours and emergency arrangements that account for the household.

What do you need from us to write it?
